Description : CARBOTIP
is highly accurate, rapid, probe for instantly analyzing by thermal analysis, Carbon in steel and
CEL, carbon and silicon in irons. Made of carefully selected raw material, components. Manufacturing and testing methods, these probes enable metallurgists to analyze the chemistry of irons and steel with high accuracy and speed of analysis.
Advantages : CARBOTIP helps to determine on the shop floor itself the carbon in steel barely in 10 seconds and irons in 50-70 seconds. As against conventional laboratory method which consumes as much as 20-25 minutes to report C% and 30-40 minutes to report Si %.
The shop floor metallurgist does not have to wait for laboratory analysis. He thus gains substantial lead-time to carry out re or de-carburisation of the bath without loss of time.
Saves fuel : Solution of carbon in steel being a slow process, the lead time gained by instant reading saves fuel costs.
